My loved caramelized Peaches or Nectarines.




Ingredients.
- 1 Nectarine or peaches
- 14-20g butter (I use lactose-free, additive free butter)
- 1-2 tsp coconut blossom sugar (or brown sugar)
- 1tsp honey
- A pinch of cinnamon
- Protein bread (seeded, high-protein bread)
- Cream cheese
- Optional topping: applesauce, mango purée or other
Instructions
- Heat a pan over a medium heat and melt the butter.
- Add the coconut blossom sugar and let it dissolve.
- Place the peach or nectarine slices into the pan and let them sizzle gently
- Drizzle with a little honey and flip the fruit pieces once they begin to caramelize
- Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon
- Turn off the heat, cover the pan, and let the fruit rest while you prepare the bread
- Toast the protein bread, spread with cream cheese, and drizzle with honey
- Place the warm caramelized fruit on top
- If you like, finish with applesauce, mango, or another favorite topping.
Serving Suggestion- Bowl Variation
You can also use the caramelized peaches/nectarines in a breakfast bowl. Combine:
- Greek yogurt
- Bee pollen powder
- 100% organic dark chocolate (shaved or grated)
- Honey or Agave nectar
- Oats
- The Caramelized Fruit
